The Ministry of Textiles has reopened the application portal for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles from November 1 to December 31, 2026, inviting fresh applications under Round 4.
The scheme focuses on boosting domestic manufacturing in man-made fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles, with the aim of attracting investments, generating employment and strengthening India's position in global textile value chains.
A key change in Round 4 is the reduction of the minimum turnover requirement under Part 2 from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore, making the scheme accessible to a wider range of companies.
The government has also extended the scheme's tenure until FY 2030–31 for Round 4 applicants and introduced a migration option for existing participants.
These changes are expected to encourage greater industry participation, support manufacturing expansion and strengthen India's competitiveness in the global textile and apparel market.
